For practices, clinics and pharmacies
Something calm for the nights between appointments.
Baku helps people with recurring nightmares practise imagery rehearsal, the approach the American Academy of Sleep Medicine recommends for nightmare disorder, at home and in their own words. It works alongside your care, never instead of it. The printed kit is free, and you earn nothing for it, on purpose.
Alongside care, never instead of it
What Baku does, and what it doesn’t.
What it does
- Rewrite and rehearse: a new ending for a recurring dream, written and practised in the day, a few minutes at a time.
- A short evening ritual to wind down, with slow breathing and the rehearsed ending.
- Nightlight for 3 a.m.: a warm ember light, slow breathing and grounding. Free forever, no account needed.
- A private journal and a moon calendar, so patients can bring what they noticed to their next appointment.
What it doesn’t
- It does not diagnose and makes no healing claims. It is a wellness app, not a medical device and not a DiGA.
- It does not replace therapy. For nightmares after trauma it suggests working with a therapist and starting with a milder dream.
- In a crisis it shows local help lines at once, and the Guide hands over to human help.
- It never shows you anything about your patients.
The one rule
You earn nothing. On purpose.
Healthcare partners never receive a commission, fee, discount or gift for recommending Baku. Professional codes and anti-kickback rules in Switzerland, Germany and Austria point the same way, and our systems enforce it. A recommendation should stay free of money, so your patients can trust that it is about them.
Two weeks of Plus
Patients who use your practice’s code try Baku Plus free for two weeks instead of the usual seven days.
Nightlight, free forever
The 3 a.m. mode works for everyone, without an account and without paying.
Private by design
Journals are encrypted and stored in Switzerland, never sold and never used for ads. We never tell you who used your code.
The kit, free of charge
Everything carries your practice’s own QR code.
And the code printed in words, so it works without scanning. Every QR code opens Baku with your code already filled in.
